Course Overview

Psychological safety is a critical component of effective, high-performing engineering teams. When individuals feel safe to speak up, ask questions, admit mistakes, and challenge ideas, organisations benefit from stronger collaboration, improved safety outcomes, and better decision-making. This course provides an introduction to psychological safety and exploring why it is essential in engineering and technical environments. Participants will gain an understanding of the factors that influence psychological safety and the role individuals and leaders play in creating environments where people feel respected, valued, and able to contribute fully.
